Beginning in 1990, and continuing for eight years, she served as Director of the Biochemistry Laboratory at the Hitachi Chemical Research Center.
Over the years, Dr. Moretti successfully applied her research on organic synthesis and chemical modification of therapeutic drugs, purification of antigens and antibodies to develop innovative reagents for immunoassays and test devices such as pregnancy tests, ovulation, infectious diseases and drugs-of-abuse. She was a highly productive scientist. In addition to holding two patents, Dr. Moretti has over 100 peer-reviewed scientific publications and won important international prize research awards.
Pyxis Laboratories is so lucky to have been founded by this brilliant and sure-footed scientist. It is precisely because of this solid foundation that Pyxis continues to carry on strongly. Thank you all for your many years of support and friendship.
